A Secondary Chemistry Teacher is required for a top British private school in Kraków, Poland – start date, ASAP!   The school was founded in the 1990s, to provide an English-medium education for the growing expatriate community.  Students (aged 3 - 18) come from all corners of the globe and small classes provide a supportive, welcoming environment for both pupils and staff. There are currently around 200 students on roll.   The school is registered with CIE, AQA and the ISA, and is a member of ECIS and COBIS.

 

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified secondary school teacher
  • Degree in Science/Chemistry
  • 2 years’ post-qualification experience is preferred
  • British qualifications and experience preferred

The school is located in the heart of Kraków, just five minutes’ walk from the main market square. It serves mainly the international ex-pat community, but also offers a condensed Polish programme (approved by the Ministry of Education) to its Polish families, who constitute approximately 30% of the school's student roll.  Their educational programme is based upon the English National Curriculum, with Key Stage 4 students sitting IGCSE exams, and senior students taking the IB - International Baccalaureate Diploma.
