Riyadh Schools (www.riyadhschools.edu.sa) is a well-established private school, using the US Common Core, accredited by COGNIA and located in central Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.   It is the leading private school in the city with an outstanding reputation in the local community.   As it embarks upon its new Strategic Plan ‘UNITE 2025’, it seeks high performing staff to implement its goals.  

 

The school is seeking applications from qualified and experienced a female School Improvement Advisor (SIA) to start in January 2022.   As the successful candidates will be mainly based in the female campuses, the successful candidates must be female.   This team will be comprised of several advisors, with a focus upon quality assurance, raising standards, improving teaching and learning and supporting school leadership teams across a group of schools.

 

The candidate should have extensive experience in global education in various countries, leadership, quality assurance, school improvement, consulting, accreditation, and inspection models. Experience within the MENA region and inspection is preferred.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Post Graduate Degree (desirable)
  • Previous International experience
  • Experience leading a school in the Middle East will be a distinct advantage
  • At least 10 years’ teaching experience
  • School Principal Experience and senior supervisory experience
  • Experience in school leadership and educational transformation including school
  • improvement, accreditation and inspection
  • Experience in international school education (experience in the US Common Core would be an advantage)
  • Exceptional relationships and communication skills
  • Ability to relate well to a range of stakeholders and with strong communication, change management and listening skills.

 

Salary/benefits:

  • Salary: 30,000 SAR (US$8,000) per month, tax-free
  • Annual increments or bonus

  • Visa and Residency Permit costs paid by school
